In August, I and my friend Jason started training for our first half-marathon. We’re running with a purpose. We’re part of Team World Vision, an organization that is dedicated to providing sources of clean water to thirsty people in Africa and Haiti. I’m told, every $50 that I run to raise will provide water for life for a child in Africa. My minimum goal is to raise enough money to provide water for 13 people-one person per mile I’ll be running.

This past Saturday we completed our first 11 mile run. We killed it. It suffered and died under the fury of our feet and begged for death before the end. Felt awesome. Our training is going great, but it will go even better if I knew we had your support and encouragement!

It is easy to make a donation on my behalf, or on behalf of any of the members of Team SaviorCC. Even the smallest donations are welcome and appreciated. $50 donations are awesome. Even a $5, $10, or $25 donation would make my day and make our next training run all the more meaningful.

As always, prayer for our team is important to us and appreciated. If you pray, please ask for injury-free training for the whole team. Pray for our fundraising efforts. Pray for the children and villages that will be blessed by the water our running helps to provide!
